Bottom-up Leadership
Secrets of Self Motivation

Too often, lower level employees wait for others to tell them what to do, and they function from task to task.  In this program, we discuss reasons and methods for working in a self-motivated style, rather than waiting for others to motivate them.

The goal is to prepare lower level employees for the challenges of advancement and improve their productivity in the process.

Based on carefully selected readings, groups discover and present the differences between "leadership" and "management".

Based on several video examples, participants identify and explore various motivation techniques. They evaluate their own sources of motivation and de-motivation.

By the End of the Program Participants Will:

Develop a personal motivation plan.

Develop a team motivation plan.

Identify their business strategic imperatives and write a plan and schedule for achieving them.

Gain perspective about the changes that they face, and plan accordingly.

Address their fear of the unknown, and mobilize to deal with reality.
