Success is about peace of mind and the skills that strengthen employees to survive and thrive in the face of chaos. With this intent, in 1975, Gailann Bruen, created Skills for Living TM -- seminars for corporations, business owners and trade association members that increase employee retention and the bottom line.

Gailann holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from Columbia University and spent 15 years on the faculty of NYU. A licensed psychotherapist, she practices as a career/life coach and trainer. She also serves as a media resource with appearances on Fox 5 Good Day New York as a career, stress and workplace crisis expert.

Gailann individually coaches as well as group- trains executives, employees, and business owners to achieve career success.

Topics range from focus under stress and creative problem solving; to coaching and communication skills for managers; to crisis planning to prevent costly emotional trauma. Her style is participatory, builds on existing skill strengths and ignites action!

Gailann’s clientele includes American Broadcasting Co., Arrow International, AT&T, Baylands Federal Credit Union, Chilton Memorial Hospital, First Union Bank, Genesis Eldercare, Hadassah, Lord & Taylor, Macy’s, National Park Service, and West Point Military Academy.
