Sharon Mikolanis is a well-known physician payment policy specialist. Her fifteen years of experience in health care provision and payment policy and development include six years with the prestigious American College of Physicians in Washington, D.C. She is a respected author of numerous articles for the American Academy of Professional Coders, and authored the highly acclaimed, Coding Guide for Surgeries and Procedures of the Breast in 2000.
