Strategic Staffing

Strategic staffing is the integration of corporate strategy and the staffing model to build a high performing team. In this workshop, emphasis is placed on how staffing can help an organization achieve its long-range goals and objectives. Participants will become accustomed to applying the Staffing Model: Planning, Job Design, Recruitment, and Selection. The impact of Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative action laws and regulations will be discussed. Case studies are used to reinforce principles and concepts.

By the End of the Program Participants Will:

Practice using the Staffing Model as an effective HR strategy.

Discuss the components of job design and their relationship to strategic staffing.

Develop a non-discriminatory recruiting plan.

Evaluate internal and external recruitment options.

Identify selection procedures that best fit the organizational strategy.

Review the Laws and Regulations that directly impact Staffing.

Discuss advantages and disadvantages of technology as a Staffing Strategy Team Building.
